- Miva Script: XML based server side scripting language used by over 25,000 developers. One example of an application developed by LyleWeb using Miva Script is The Oade Audio Tape Tree Managment System, now in beta testing, which includes the following functions:
- Administration Menu for all system functions
- File Maintenance (read approximate, read next, add, change, delete) for all system databases
- Tree Build algorithm using business rules, tape_type rules, permanent signups, and individual tree trader signups to dynamically produce and display in HTML a 4 dimensional (branch, row, column, copy number) tape tree structure
- Tree Signup form traders use to select from and join available tape trees
- Update Status form for traders to report when tapes are sent or received, with a new HTML tree structure showing the updates generated, displayed to the user, and written to the web server for future tree status page requests
The public portions of this system will be accessible from The Tapers Section at Oade Brothers Audio once beta testing is complete. This application uses Miva Script to build and manage tape trees and trader relationships, providing a reason for repeated visits to this commercial site from an interested, participatory community of DAT recording enthusiasts.
